The company is misleading to make you believe that 9 hours of use.... thats for the whole package **Q: what is the size of the can?** A: they are just a bit too big to fit in the burner that i bought with them... garbage product **Q: What color is the flame?** A: Blue/yellow **Q: are these adequate to put in a fire place?** A: As long as the flue is opened would probably be ok but its a pretty small flame. I'm pretty sure they are designed for patio use on a table with friend and neighbors sitting around having a beer. Guess you could do the same around the fireplace.
