## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do the 6+ extenders also have ethernet ports?**
A: It has 2 Ethernet ports per unit, but I replace the eero 6+ with to-link Deco X55 which has 3 ports per unit and they also launched an outdoor mesh which can work with the indoor mesh. The best solution in the market.

**Q: Is this one hub and two nods?**
A: All three eeros in this pack are the same. Any of the three eeros can be used to connect to your upstream modem, and the others can be used as your secondary nodes.

**Q: can I connect the nodes using a wired CAT6 wire or does each node need to be wireless**
A: According to the good folks at eero:
Yes. eeros can be connected together via Ethernet backhaul or they can connect wirelessly. If your home is already wired with Ethernet, you may want to take advantage of these connections to increase the range of your eeros and reduce the risk of wireless interference.

When connecting your eeros via Ethernet, you can either connect all your eeros to your gateway (likely via an Ethernet Switch), or you connect each eero to one another.

**Q: Can you add an eero 6 extender to the eero 6+ mesh as an extender?**
A: Yes, all eeros are backward compatible. However, the eero 6 only supports 80mhz compared to the eero 6+ supporting 160mhz channels. This means if you add a 6 to your 6+, network will be slowed down and switch back to 80mhz channels reducing your overall top network speed
