The only fault he could find with this is the volume. It would be nice if it went a little louder. In a noisy room, it's a little weak. The sound quality is good and clear however, and transferring tracks was simple. Be careful if you want to use the included stick-on backings. If you don't remove them carefully, they tear the cardboard packaging along with them. Except for those very minor negatives, this product is working fantastic. She's recently fallen in love with Teddy Swims "Lose Control" hit song and I wanted to give her something special, so I decided to give this little device a try. I was able to get it to work flawlessly by following the colorful pamphlet that comes with the device. I do not understand any of the negative reviews. I was able to accomplish this in about 30 minutes. Pros: -Easy to use instructions! -"Push-button control", I needed this specifically for my application. They make a similar device with other options, ie opening a card -Sound Quality (there is a slider for volume adjustment on the device. I find the optimal volume is backing it off slightly from the max setting. Max setting sounds a bit distorted, but 90% volume sounds great) See video. -I opted for 1:15 of the song "Lose Control" vs cutting it further and included other songs. I may opt for this later on) -Ability to change the audio file ANY TIME! This can be re-used or updated at any time with a more relevant audio file -Components are adhered to a "sticker" that would allow you to stick it on a desired location. In my case, it will be inside of a wooden base. The button is on wires about 3" long for application (in case some were wondering). Cons: -Larger footprint than I initially expected; however, it didn't change my application. The sticker is about 3" by 2.25" (could be trimmed slightly if needed) - USB Micro connector (never been a fan), I feel like we live in a world where most devices should be USB-C now. Important Notes!!! Step 1) I googled and used a "youtube downloader" after finding my song on Youtube. This will be an MP4 format due to it being a video (you will need to convert this to MP3 format in the next step). Step 2) The directions say to use "online-audio-converter.com) and this worked perfectly. Step 3) I used MPTrim.com software to trim the part of the song I wanted to make it below the 2MB size requirements. Step 4) After I had my MP3 file, I turned on the device and connected via USB to my laptop. Step 5) I opened the drive/folder and removed the 3 DEMO files. Step 6) I dragged my desired file and dropped it in the folder(note: it did take 30 seconds or so to copy). Once this was done, I turned the device off, unplugged it from the laptop, turned it back on and pushed the button to test. Everything worked like a charm!

**Q: Can 3 modules be wired to the same single activation button?**
A: sure   would be wired in series to activate modules.  but then you would have 3 tunes playing.   might be fun if you different instruments on each one

**Q: If I replace the button with an on/off switch, can it constantly loop?**
A: You can replace the button with a switch. I replaced it with a relay. But it will only play one song each time you flip the switch.

**Q: What type of USB plug is it ?**
A: Included free USB cable is Type A to Mini USB Cable. So, just regular / standard USB port is what you need to have on your device.

**Q: Why does recording that comes w/ it play at audible level, -my recording is barely a whisper even though sound was set to maximum level?**
A: The reason for it is that your MP3 file(s) do have very low sound volume levels and there is a easy solution for it. It is also given in the instructions included in the package. It is instruction step#4. You do need to go websites like mp3louder.com to increase the sound volume level of your file. You can use any other similar website. Please just google "how to increase sound volume of MP3 file"
