Thanks!** A: Hello! Thanks for your interest. Kit includes Juniper Berries, Coriander, Lemon Peel, Grains of Paradise, Angelica Root, and Cubeb Berries in a nicely labelled folio of sealed plastic bags. **Q: What is the base liquor needed for the gin kit?** A: I have no clue since I've never purchased this! **Q: How long does it take to make the Gin?** A: You can make some in as little as 24 but I've had a few using this kit that were made over the course of several days and they were excellent. If you want a stronger taste of a certain herb, leave it for longer; it'll mostly be based on your preference. **Q: A tip in the instructions says: "gently macerate and/or roast the spices and botanicals". What does macerate mean in this context? Soak in water?** A: Yes you can soak them in water to release the scents and make even more potent. We roasted lightly on the stove in a small saucepan instead which worked GREAT. ## Frequently Bought Together - DIY Gift Kits Real Gin Making Kit, Gin Infusion Kit with 6 Botanicals & Spices, Stainless Steel Flask, & Funnel, Handcrafted Artisanal Gin, Mixology Set for Bartender & Adults, Gift for Men & Women - DO Your Whisky | DIY Whiskey Infusion Set | Whiskey Making Kit | 12 Woodchips & Botanicals | 6 Whiskey Stones & Recipe Guide Anniversary, or Birthday Gift for Him --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/42869737-alcohol-infusion-kit-diy-botanical-gin-infusion-kit-with-6](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/42869737-alcohol-infusion-kit-diy-botanical-gin-infusion-kit-with-6) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
