The scents are decent and not wood smelling, or cigarette smell like the ones that came with the waterflow burner I purchased from another seller. There is a slight woodsy smell from the ash once the cone is burnt, but it is not bad. These lasted more than 5 minutes like my originals that came with the burner. These lasted 15 - 20 minutes and I am very pleased with everything. Will definitely buy again.
