I opted for the large size for my dad's ashes for one because someone who purchased the medium said their mom's ashes were too much for that container, and also they didn't have an image in medium that matched my dad's personality... I'm fairly certain he was above 200lbs when he passed (close to $240), & when I measured the amount of ashes I received in the plastic urn I calculated approximately 160 cubic inches (159.56 inches^3 to be more precise). This large size container was just about perfect.The image on the container is good but it was not cut/glued the best, it lines up perfectly with the lid but there is a spot where the image on the canister has a little extra paper piece where it must've not been cut quite right, but the image still sounds well with the rest of what's on the lid. My main complaint is that the lid feels much looser than I expected it should be, and I thought I was getting 2 containers with 2 lids (one fitting inside the second) but it only has the one outer lid. It will have to work because his funeral is in only 2 days & though it is technically for scattering the ashes, I got it for his ashes to be buried and eventually be one with the earth again.
