This works perfect for hitting and catching practice for my six and eight year-old grandsons. Another big plus is being able to plug it into an extension cord or use the battery option and take it to the batting cage.

Not bad at all. We use it for cricket practice. Its never going to be a professional device ,but you use it for technique training. Ive even had adults comment on its usefulness. its all about how you apply it and what your expectations are. I bought a cheap tripod to give it some height and to angle the machine downwards if needed. You can manipulate the speed on both wheels independetly and also move the wheels up or down to give a in or outswing We also use it for some fielding/catching practice although th eballs are a bit light and dont give a true feeling when throwing. so far wind has not been too much of an issue.
