A: It is very silent.

**Q: is this clock silent**
A: Yes, it is! I think it's a wonderful clock and good in size as well.

**Q: Can i hang this on the wall?**
A: It is really a mantle clock and has no hanger. There is a hole on the back but I am not sure it would hang straight on the wall with a nail.

**Q: what is the face size?**
A: Approximately 4"x5.75".
