First one I've had for years now and it has endured much abuse without any sign of damage after multiple spills and falls (from a 4 foot high table to floor) so many times I lost count, but it keeps on ticking. Understated, contempo design with curved display, simple & ez to read numerals in soothing blue color, and best of all uses reliable, gold standard self-setting atomic time. Atomic time clocks receive & translate a radio signal from Fort Collins, CO so they do require a relatively unobstructed path in that direction, meaning it probably won't receive signal if placed in a basement or room that doesn't share an exterior wall, although I've had many with good reception in a single story deeply interior room, basically, place it near a window and you should be good. Avoid the electronic self-setters which truly lose track of time and don't allow user adjustments whatsoever•. LaCrosse in my opinion is king of the atomic clocks and Casio is king of atomic watches (remove the wristband, place 3m mounting tape on the back, and mount anywhere••carclock, travelclock, etc. ) Until we have affordable GPS clock radio's where GPS time is even more accurate than radio ("atomic") time, this is the most precise consumer grade bedside clock you'll find. To those with unfavorable reviews, all's can say is WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET•••so, If you don't like blue, if you want a brick-heavy clock, or if you don't meet the requirements or know the basics of atomic clock placement, look elsewhere, but this clock is best in class in my opinion.

I then bought a La Crosse Color Alarm Atomic clock with temp (inside/outside) and day/date. It was very nice, but the view angle was VERY POOR. It was useless in most locations. I just received this clock. It seems to be very lite weight, so I don't know how it will stand up to a lot of handling, like using the alarm buttons, but I will not use the alarm and seldom have to touch the clock. I plugged it in and finished an email I was writing. After about 2 minutes it set it self to the atomic time server! It has big blue digits that are pleasing and easy to read. I did a lot of research, but none of the atomic clocks that had temperature and were backlit for dark rooms work due to poor viewing angle. I am going to buy two more for my other TV stands. It will be nice to be able to see the correct time where ever I am in the house, not to mention without struggling see it at a limited angle. It shouldn't have been that hard to find a clock that works!

yes, albeit, lightweight, its a great looking clock. Buying a 2nd one for other room. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great clock - a couple of glitches...

I have three of these clocks purchased back in 2021 - all three behave the same way. I really like them but for two issues: one of omission, and one of commission. The omission is that it should have an auto-dimming function that adapts to the ambient light level in the room. Having to dim the display manually is not convenient when used in a bedroom. The commission is a problem with the automatic Daylight Saving Time adjustment whereby it is ALWAYS a day late! Whether switching from standard to summer time in the Spring or from summer time to standard time in the Fall the time is not updated until one day after it should be. I've tried several tricks to see if I could get that to behave properly but have not been successful in getting it to work on time (no pun intended...). So, for two days each year I just ignore the displayed time from these clocks knowing that they will be correct on the next day. Perhaps the newer versions of this clock fixed the DST adjustment problem, but I have no way of knowing that.
