The media could not be loaded. Everything about this drum exceeded my expectations. It's handmade, with some help from a Dremel. It has a great head, and was tuned perfectly out of the box. It has a lot of heft to it, which is why I have my own heavy duty shoulder strap in the video. The shell is very resonant and beautifully painted. More than just a decoration, this is a serious musical instrument. This is easily $200+ at any drum shop. I will enjoy this djembe for a lifetime.

I love drumming and this one is easy to play and looks great in my living room. What a great way to “blow” off steam natural and healthy. Fun too!

My first drum. I chose this particular one it for the elephants, after narrowing down the choices that fit my criteria. Has a decent sound. Can definitely get the 3 distinctly different sounds from it. Took it out to my first drum circle and played about 3 hrs on it. Definitely fun! Looks pretty. Nice weight to it. On my particular one, though, the carry strap is very short so only enough to use to carry it by hand. One of the pics looks like it's longer, like a shoulder strap. Definitely can't on this one. Not a really big deal. If you get a carry bag, you'll get a strap on that. I'm not bothering. I'd recommend it. Nice drum of a decent size for the price. Smaller than this would definitely be too small.

I feel like I got a used item. It’s dirty and marked up. The box was damaged and bent. It looked like the damaged box was put into another box and sent out. For this much money I expected better quality.
