But these little decals actually work! TIP: If you're going to do this, first scrape away any remaining paint flakes on the switches, catching the chunks with a piece of masking tape so they don't slide down into the switch body. Then, with fine grit sandpaper, gently smooth off the surfaces and clean them with something like rubbing alcohol. Next, with a Sharpie, shade just around the outermost edges of the switch surfaces because these decals rest just on the flat parts. Don't go too far into the area where there's printing on the decals because, at night, the glow of the switches will illuminate those areas from behind. The adhesive on the decals is VERY aggressive, so position carefully with a tweezers before pressing on. And then--voila! Nice, new looking steering wheel controls! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Better than looking at worn buttons *by P***K on Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2018* Product as described. They are transparent, but the whole sticker is transparent not just the emblem. The stickers could be a little bigger to go over the edges so that you don't see the white edge of sticker (maybe make it a heat wrap kinda thing). All in all it is better than looking at worn off buttons. P.S. after you scrape off the old emblem off button...I used model paint (flat black (my buttons where black)) to touch up around the edges just take it nice easy and just paint to just inside where the sticker will be sticking. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's Good Enough to Buy *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2019* It did do a good job, but it wasn't perfect. The button stickers aren't large enough to cover the edges which were peeled on some of my buttons. You really can't notice it that bad unless you know it's there. While it did include steering wheel and HVAC controls I couldn't find a complete set which I wanted for my heated seat controls and rear seat entertainment controls on the back of the center console on my '03 Tahoe. Also at night if your buttons are peeled really bad the light comes through the sticker.
