I use it for punching holes in paper, and it is quite good at that. I will say that in the package you get 2 metal anvils and 1 plastic one, and for my purposes I probably would have preferred the reverse but I get that I am likely not the normal user.Overall it seems sturdy, and gets the job done well. For $15 this is the best I could imagine, seeing as a powered hole punch costs easily over 50, and my other hand punches bent after some use.
