Review: Not exactly as pictured but I did get a bonus - The ones I got are flat on the end, not rounded as shown, -1 star. The bonus; the green and blue have glitter in them, +1 star! Overall, they do their job. I don't see how they can come off of a standard pencil. You can see where they narrow inside to grip the pencil. In fact you can jam them on so tightly that they're hard to pull off. They add about 12 mm or 1/2 inch to the overall length when on a sharpened pencil. I cut a little bit off of the closed end of some of them to shorten them to fit in my case. That leaves the end completely open but it still extends past the point so it's still protected.
