At night the Matte was noticeably darker even with upgraded LED bulbs. Although they are dark they are the perfect color to blend fog lights and marker lights to black textured bumpers. I purchased all of their colored tints. Light Smoke, Dark Smoke, Matte, and all of the colored films. Each of them are extremely easy to use. They are very malleable after applying alittle heat. My main advice is to make sure to not touch the back on the vinyl as it will show fingerprints. I personally found this to be much easier and forgiving to install than vehicle vinyl.
