The weight is a perfect for a chilly fall day, or even a mildly cold winter day. It's well made, the zippers are good quality and it fits him as expected- he's 6' and 200 lbs- He loves the way it fits, and it really looks good on him. Very pleased ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Quality Jacket! *by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2021* This ended up being exactly what I was hoping for!Quality is great. The fit is perfect too. I bought a medium and it fits perfectly. It’s a mid-weight jacket just as the description states. Perfect for a fall/spring weather outer layer. Though it is warm enough to be paired with a hoodie underneath and used during the winter. The inside is fleece lined and soft. The exterior is a nylon type water resistant material. Really nice quality and gives the jacket a very clean and crisp look. Which means it’s also a great option for more formal situations as well. It’s a great all-rounder.This will be my new go-to for any situation that doesn’t require a full on bulky winter coat. I’ll most likely reach for this during the winter when heading to work as well. It’s warm enough for short walks to and from the car. I can’t think of any reasons I wouldn’t wear this, other than needing a hood, or when I need a full-on winter coat. New #1 coat. The only criticism I could offer is that it did take a full 2 weeks to receive mine. My order wasn’t processed and shipped for probably 3-4 days after I ordered. Then it took another 2-3 to arrive, only to find out they sent me a small. I exchanged it for a medium no problem, but that order took another 4-5 days to ship out, and another 3-4 to arrive. Finally received the correct medium exactly 2 weeks after ordering. Both items shipped USPS which probably didn’t help anything. A little frustrating when you’re used to 2 day shipping on everything. But not the end of the world. Just something to keep in mind. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good fit, size chart was accurate *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2020* Purchased this after researching a few other brands. I found a few other at a lower price by a few dollars, overall the rest were about the same price range. Great fit, I am 5' 9'', 160 pounds with a bit of a COVID gut and it fits just how I want it to, falls about an inch below my belt line. Chest area fit isn't too loose or tight, sleeve length is good. Overall, good value. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/437925461-weatherproof-mens-midweight-water-and-wind-resistant-soft-shell-jacket](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/437925461-weatherproof-mens-midweight-water-and-wind-resistant-soft-shell-jacket) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
