He wanted a new challenge. It feels a little loose, so I was worried that it might not hold up, but then someone told me that they are made loosely on purpose so that you can spin it more easily and faster. So far, we haven't have any problems with it. He really likes the gold color and has already been able to solve it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleasant After Setup *by N***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2018* Out of the box it had a little spring noise and was a bit tight, but after a bit of Traxxas 50k in the cores, a touch on one edge and a couple drops each of Lubicle Silk and DNM-37 on opposite edges it's smooth and pleasant to solve.Did have to break in the lube a bit and clean the cube (and my hands) since the odd shaped pieces cause you to touch the outer parts of the lubed surfaces while solving.Overall, a fun variation of a 3x3 cube. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Challenging but Well Made *by B***H on Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2017* I tried this instead of the usual Rubix style cube with equally sized squares and it was a unique experience. I can't say that I prefer it over the original as it is quite complex, especially since all the parts are yellow, but this is well made and turns easily.
