The belts are a bit on the stiff side and will break in with use BUT I have fat thumbs and fingers while blessed with little patience to break it in through use. I cut a small section of pencil, a little short of the width of the belt, stuck it in the pocket between the two rollers and did some thumb cardio rolling it around and around. About 5 minutes of this the belt became pretty pliable and easily used. Much easier for me to use. Review: Perfect every time - If you want a perfect roll every time then this is the right one. Easy to use & comes with a replacement band "the piece in the picture" for when or if it wears out. I had one of these years ago & it lasted forever.
