There are adapters for DVI-D to Apple Mini Display port, easy to find, but adding one more adapter for mini-display to USB C don't work. If you don't need an Ethernet port, this simpler adapter will let you use your older Cintiq with your newer laptop, taking up only one USB C port, since the USB 3 slot also accommodates the Cintiq's USB 2 connector. ### ⭐ Useless *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2016* DVI output does not work at all with 12" Early 2015 Retina MacBook. OS X will not detect the display. The USB 3.0 port and USB Type C passthrough work fine, but the only reason I ordered this was to connect my MacBook to an external display. Spent several hours troubleshooting today, reset NVRAM and SMC to no avail.
