The fit and finish are great for the price, the only potential problem is that the tang is slightly proud of the scales, which might cause a bit of pain trying to grip for long periods. I will change my review if the knife doesn’t hold up to abuse testing. Comes very sharp out of the box, not hair whittling but a good functional edge the glides through cardboard. UPDATE: I used some wet/dry automotive sandpaper (2000 & 3000 grit) to round any hard edges on the handle, it did not take very long and I was not aggressive to get it feeling great in the hand. The knife survived some very light batoning with no damage to the edge. Whittles just fine, but it is big enough I don't think it would be my first choice because of the increased risk of having such a long exposed edge. Razor sharp you could shave with it. I applied 3 coats of oil to sheath letting each one dry after working the oil in to the sheaths in’s and out sides this takes a couple days but worth the time and patients. I recommend this knife.
