But this is an okay book for me. Nothing too special about it.. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice summary but disappointed with printed format, font, layout, and graphic colors. Wished I had ordered it from Kindle instead *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2017* Ever buy something and then feel you didn't have all the instructions for how to use it? That's what happened to me with this book. Basically, the book has 10 sections each with exactly 22 pages, following a strict format between an introduction that does not really explain how the book works and a summary assessment tool that was also poorly explained.The book's strength comes from having structured mini presentations of the 10 topics at hand, each of which stands independently as an effective topical review. However, the book's weakness comes primarily because the authors assume that readers understand their approach, which in printed format appears to be a long PowerPoint presentation where every slide looks alike even though with closer inspection the content does actually change. There's some great information here, but the two author-consultants should have used better consultants in book formatting, design, and font section to remove the gimmicky presentation structure and then emphasize more the content and also consider the needs of the reader. For example, the first major graph on page 3 has a sanserif font that is too small with printed text in a light gray, making it nearly impossible to read without magnification and a strong light. (This was easily resolved with Kindle's reformatting and structure.)The authors subjective approach is engaging and filled with real-life examples that introduce each topic, and their use of a 5 As model (I can't explain it here) for applying the topic was effective once their process was understood. I had considered using this book as required reading for a master's course; however, I feared the printed form of the book was too disjointed and confusing even for graduate students. Still, the books is an effective resource for business professionals and academics who want to understand how consultants create template models for reviewing issues and concepts in a unique way that motivates the reader to see familiar things through new eyes. The references, however, were generally disappointing because they most often lacked citations from seminal research and theories, something that if included would have made the book much stronger. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Transitioning to a new CEO role?
