If you try to pour faster it will pour out of other places and likely get everywhere so this kind of spout definitely requires some patience. I personally love it and the size is great, it can heat about 4 cups of water at a time. The app is awesome and the good feature has come in handy so many times as I often forget that I turned the kettle on. Also being able to set specific temperatures and save settings is also such a great feature. It’s easy to clean, looks great and functions fantastically! Review: Great investment - I've had this kettle for years! it still works. It heats quickly. It's temperature is reliable. You can use the app to schedule the water. It does have any leakage issues as long as you do not fill pass the "max fill line". It can be programmed to hold the temperature for 30 minutes or even more. You can even add DIY preset if you don't like the temps on the preprogrammed preset. The weight is light and the look is very nice. The exterior paint does not chip. it's been years of daily use and it is still chip free. ## Features - Smart Voice & App Control: Govee electric kettle supports Bluetooth or WiFi connection, which is more stable and faster than kettles that can only be connected through Bluetooth, as the control range is not limited by distance. Looks similar** A: We looked at both this one and the Cosori and decided to go with the Govee because of the better reviews. We have had it for a little over two weeks and love it. No issues with app or performance at all. **Q: Can this be used manually without app?** A: You could use the electric gooseneck kettle manually. There are buttons on the base. For more features, you can check the Govee Home app. **Q: Is the lid made with stainless steel? Is the lid painted inside?** A: There is no painting inside the electric kettle lid. The lid is made with 304 food-grade stainless steel. **Q: Can the kettle tell how much water is in the kettle? Maybe by weight of the kettle on the base and show us this?** A: The smart kettle can not tell how much water is. The max line on the electric kettle is 0.8L. But please do not worry. When there is no water in the kettle, the kettle will automatically switch to anti-dry mode and turn off the device. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product but Slow Pour *by N***E on August 21, 2026* The pouring on this is amazing for matcha but if you’re someone who likes a quick pour and be done with it, this might not be for you. The app isn't necessary but was very easy to connect (though I already had the govee app for some other devices beforehand), personally I really appreciate the convenience of being able to automate it, but it is definitely entirely usable without it. Design is solid, doesn't get too hot to the touch except maybe the lid if you block the steam vents. I only put water in it and it won't boil off so I haven't really had to clean it. Only downside is it's a little small, 0.8 liters, which seems very comparable to similar gooseneck kettles but if you make a lot of coffee or tea at once or for several people, especially if you preheat your vessels it can be a little limiting. ## Frequently Bought Together - Govee Smart Electric Kettle, WiFi Variable Temperature Gooseneck Pour Over Kettle and Tea Kettle, Alexa Control, 1200W Quick Heating, 100% Stainless Steel, 0.8L, Matte Black - Chemex Pour-Over Glass Coffeemaker - Classic Series - 8-Cup - Exclusive Packaging - Chemex Natural Coffee Filters, Square, 100ct - Exclusive Packaging --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/442866243-smart-electric-kettle-wifi-variable-temperature-gooseneck-tea-kettle](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/442866243-smart-electric-kettle-wifi-variable-temperature-gooseneck-tea-kettle) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
