These large squares allow me to fit half points in as well (ex. 24.5), which I was having a really hard time with in my other plan book. The spot for the assignment name are large enough that I can fit a good description. I use the date box for each assignment to note how many points each assignment was worth. The layout is really nice, there's enough room to write, and it's easy to use however you need. Although most teachers now keep grades, attendance, etc., on computer gradebooks, I have always kept a paper copy and advise my student teachers to do the same. (Teachers' nightmare happens -- computer systems crash!!) My only negative comment: the cover does not hold up well because of daily use.
