Review: Easy to attach to window - I like this system rather than something that attaches to the vent where heat may be negative to my phone. I tried to attach to the side small window on divers Side. This was not good as the weight distribution may have be unbalanced and this holder kept falling off. I almost returned it. Then I attached it in the lowest point possible to my front window on the drivers side …this way the weight was more evenly balanced and to my great happiness has been great. It has stayed on and it sits in a good place and doesn’t interfere with my vision. I am a lefty so I like it on my left side. I suppose you can attach in the lower center of the window and be on you right. I think it is important to have it balanced and the weight centered for it to stay on and stable.

The first time I needed to remove it from a windshield, I wasn't sure I'd ever get it off! It took several minutes of wrestling and a few dental pics to remove it, LOL. But I replaced the plastic film on the suction cup, and it worked just fine on the next rental car. So the only caution is to be careful when you place this, because it is NOT easy to move. The good news is that it holds well, and I don't have to worry about it falling off!

**Q: will this hold an old model iPhone measuring  2 1/2 X 4 3/4  ?**
A: It should no problem.   It holds my Samsung Note 5 that measures 3 X 6 inches.  The claw adjusts well to fit different sizes of phones.  The only problem is it will vibrate when going down the road because of my phones weight, but if I rest the phone on the dashboard it stabilizes it and solves the problem.

**Q: Will it hold a samsung s7 galaxy. With a commuter otter box protecting the phone?**
A: Yes. It fully supports your cell phone.

**Q: Can it fit a phone that has a finger ring on the back of the case?**

This lasted about two months before the suction/glue melted and the stand broke off because of it. Waste and not worth it
