Quick background, i have been biting my nails since i am able to remember (im now 21). My parents told me i always had my hands in my mouth as a kid and then as i got older it changed to biting my nails. My mom used to put hot sauce on my nails, I’ve had teachers call me out for it, I’ve had doctors and dentist lecture me about how bad it can be and nothing would change my mind. I’ve tried at least 10 different products since i started my 8th grade year and none of them worked. All of the products were either not bitter enough and i would bite my nails anyways or the taste would wash off as soon as i got my hands wet. This is the only product i have found that actually has an unbearable taste and stays on after washing my hands. I’m about a week in, the first day i did the dishes after dinner and took a shower, after i put them in my mouth and the taste was still awful. Obviously it takes time to see improvement but I can already tell that I have no desire to put my hands near my mouth. I really thought that this was a habit that i was never going to be able to kick but after trying this product i think it’s going to be a lot easier than what i thought.
