## Description

Drain excess water flooding hardscapes to prevent costly property damage with the 5 in. Pro Series Channel Drain, Deep Profile, the most durable modular drain system in its class. Captures moderate flows from driveways, patios, courtyards, walkways, & sports facilities, & conveys to drain pipe. Kit includes a 4-3/4 in. deep polypropylene channel, galvanized steel grates, end cap/outlet, & end cap. Channels connect together with interlocking joints. Shorten to 4 in. increments using saw guides. End cap/outlet, integrated bottom outlet, & side knockouts provide 8 outlet options per channel section. Channel drains, also called trench drains, are long, narrow drains used for surface drainage of hardscapes. Channel drains collect and convey water to drain pipes, which carry the water downstream to discharge with a pop-up emitter, or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench. **Q: Any recommendations for the size of the trench that needs to be dug to accept the channel?**
A: Go to NDS's website. There are full installation instructions.

**Q: What size rebar fit the clips?**
A: 1/2 "

**Q: How long are these sections and can they be connected together for external lenghts?**
A: The sections are 39 3/4" long. The ends are designed to slide together to allow for long lengths.

**Q: Can this be used for old construction or new only**
A: I used it for a new drainage project. I would guess that it could be used for an existing system as long as you could connect to the 4" discharge port on the end of the unit

Design is good. Parts fit together easily although a set of instructions would have been nice. Will also need drain pipe and rods to hold it tight if you do not want a gap.
