Once you tighten the strap as much as you possibly can, there isn’t anything to stop it from loosening. I also have fluffy beds, so the sides are more rounded and I could keep feeling them getting farther and farther apart. It’s true it’s super long, so you’ll probably need to cut it or tie up the excess. The buckle on the strap is like a belt buckle with shallow teeth that don’t grip the rope well. If you need it to actually keep your beds together, I would find something else.
