Review: Best knifes - This knife is amazing, big, heavy but well balanced. Very sharp and perfect for cookouts. It did great cutting beef skirt fajitas and chicken thighs. Can't beat the quality and price. Like it so much, I bought a different one as well, picture attached.
Review: 6.7" is all you need to get the job done - I bought this knife in 2021, along with a whetstone to maintain it. It's the only knife I use for prepping in the kitchen (everything from garlic and greens to hard root vegetables and watermelon), and I'm insanely proud of being able to master my $25 blade. About a year or two after I bought it, I noticed a hairline crack (see photo). I must have done something to it and not noticed, or maybe it's just the steel quality. Regardless, my blacksmith friend told me it would be fine and not to sweat it. He said for the softness of the steel and what I paid, it was negligible. And he was right - I haven't had a single issue with it. I sharpen it maybe 3 times a year? Maybe? It's held up near perfectly with each sharpening. I also use a little butcher block conditioner on the handle and on the blade itself when I sharpen it to thwart splintering. I also only ever hand wash it and dry it immediately after use. All in all, it's a generally low maintenance addition to our vegan kitchen (which I point ourt only because I don't know how it holds with with meat or bones). Anyhow, I still love this knife with every fiber of my being. I love having the simplicity of ergonomics, style, and practicality of a tool - and this knife absolutely does that for me. Once you master the art of using it, it becomes an extension of your arm that feels safe to use, and lets the weight of the steel do most of the hard work. I'm super impressed with how this knife has held up in the kitchen, and have even bought them as gifts for others after they watched me prep with mine! If anything ever happens to my baby, I'll definitely replace it with the exact same one. I took these photos the day I posted this review, immediately after sharpening and conditioning.

THE BEST KNIFE I HAVE EVER OWNED! My husband bought me the 6 inch model. Oh my goodness, it is such an incredible knife. I use it to cut meat, veggies and fruits. This baby is the real deal. It holds its edge wonderfully. I cannot recommend a better knife. I cook a ton of food and take this with me to Loaves and Fishes where I cook for 60+ people. All my helpers want to use my knife! It is a heavier knife, but that makes cutting even easier. As for the bad pictures on the reviews with rust and chips. Take care of your knives. Wash it and dry it immediately, and don't try to hack a rock. It is used for food. I AM ONE HAPPY, HAPPY CUSTOMER!
