Unfortunately I no longer possess the eagle vision that I remember having from my youth so I was looking for something that was easy to read from the opposite side of the garage. At the same time I didn't want something obnoxious that stood out like a disco light. Finally, to handicap my search even further I am also.. lets just say.. frugal. Needless to say I did not have the highest of hopes entering into this endeavor as I figured my requirements were all contradictory. So imagine my surprise when I discovered this clock! It is super easy to read because the digits are large and high contrast. It is not obnoxious because it dims itself if it is dark and brightens up when it is light so that the brightness is always the perfect mix of being easily visible without blinding you. The bezel is minimal so all you really see is the numbers making it even more able to blend into the background. Finally, it was reasonably priced. Even for a cheapskate like me I would consider this to be a very good value. As for things I don't like... There really isn't anything. Some people have complained in the comments that it is annoying that it has to always be plugged in. That is because this is a big LED display which would obliterate batteries in short order due to the minimal but continuous power draw. If you want a battery only clock you would have to go with an LCD clock which is much harder to read in low light conditions which is not what I was looking for. This clock simply uses a standard USB charger plug to operate so it is probably drawing less than 1 watt. It is not a power hog- it just isn't appropriate to run on batteries only. I have been super happy with this clock and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks in person and how perfectly balanced the light output is. It was literally exactly what I was looking for. If you think this clock would work for your situation I would highly recommend you buy it. I very much doubt that you would be disappointed. I hope this helps! Review: Inexpensive and Easy to Read - I love this little clock! I needed a clock for my bathroom that could be read in the dark. I didn't want to spend a lot as it's just going in my bathroom and this little clock filled the bill. It's inexpensive, light, easy to get up and running and the digital numbers are offered in different colors. I chose the blue light and I'm very pleased with it. I find it very calming. Another aspect of the clock is the light sensor which works very well. It gets brighter during the day so the numbers are easy to read and dims to a pleasant level in the dark. I also liked the fact that I could either hang it on the wall or place it on a counter. I chose to place it on my counter. It plugs into the wall but has a back-up battery in the event of a power failure. All in all, I love it and am very happy with it. The price is right and the quality is great. ## Features - ATTENTION: It is a PLUG-IN electric wall clock, NOT a battery-operated clock. The backup battery can only help to preserve time in case of power outage. - [Small Wall Clock with Large Digits] - This LED Digital Wall Clock features large 2.8-inch digits, significantly bigger than the 1.8-inch digits on a 16-inch atomic wall clock. We believe this larger display will make it easier for you to read the time at a glance. - [Better Font Design] - Our Modern LED Wall Clock features large digits and well-spaced fonts, ensuring it remains easily readable even from a distance. - [3-Level Auto-Brightness] - Automatically adjust the display brightness according to the brightness of the environment. High brightness for clear visibility during the day, moderate brightness to create a comfortable ambiance indoors at night, and low brightness for complete darkness, ensuring a peaceful sleep environment for you. - [Easy-Hanging Design] - We've included two convenient positioning pins on the back to help you effortlessly mark where the nails or screws should go, making your installation a breeze. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09TNH381R | | Additional Features | Built-in Light Sensor for Auto-Brightness | | Alarm Clock | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #12,179 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #11 in Wall Clocks | | Brand | XUANZIT | | Brand Name | XUANZIT | | Clock Form | Time Clock | | Color | Red | | Connectivity Technology | USB | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 3,030 Reviews | | Dial Color | Red | | Display Type | LED | | Frame Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | | Included Components | 1 x Power Adapter (DC 5V/1A), 1 x USB Power Cable (Length: 10ft), 1 x User Manual, 2 x Adhesive Hooks, 2 x Plastic Anchors with Screws | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions W x H | 8.7"W x 3.5"H | | Item Type Name | clock | | Item Weight | 8.8 ounces | | Manufacturer | XUANZIT | | Manufacturer Part Number | XZT74R | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 24-month money back warranty. | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | XZT74R-1 | | Mounting Type | Wall Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | Electrical | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Product Dimensions | 8.7"W x 3.5"H | | Room Type | Bedroom, Living Room, Classroom, Home, Garage, Office, Farmhouse | | Screen Size | 2.8 inches | | Shape | Rectangular | | Size | Small | | Special Feature | Built-in Light Sensor for Auto-Brightness | | Style | Modern | | Style Name | Modern | | Theme | Farmhouse | | UPC | 756166536227 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Watch Movement | Automatic | ## Product Details - **Brand:** XUANZIT - **Color:** Red - **Display Type:** LED - **Indoor/Outdoor Usage:** Indoor - **Power Source:** Corded Electric - **Product Dimensions:** 8.7"W x 3.5"H - **Room Type:** Bedroom, Living Room, Classroom, Home, Garage, Office, Farmhouse - **Shape:** Rectangular - **Special Feature:** Built-in Light Sensor for Auto-Brightness - **Style:** Modern ## Images ![LED Digital Wall Clock with Large Display, Big Digits, Auto-Brightness, 12/24Hr Format, Modern Electric Small Silent Wall Clock for Living Room, Bedroom, Classroom, Farmhouse, Kitchen, Office - Red - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51KRnWiA1DL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can you plug this clock directly into the wall as it comes, or do you need a USB-to-wall outlet adapter?** A: My clock came with the adapter. Came with back up battery, but if you need to replace you’ll need a TINY little screwdriver. Intuitive to adjust time and color. Know that the gradient color is random and keep changing every few seconds. You can’t set the two colors of the gradient, they’re random each time. I was hoping for the blue gradient shown in the product image, but settled on the solid blue instead. The ambient lighting function works great. ## Frequently Bought Together - LED Digital Wall Clock with Large Display, Big Digits, Auto-Brightness, 12/24Hr Format, Modern Electric Small Silent Wall Clock for Living Room, Bedroom, Classroom, Farmhouse, Kitchen, Office - Red - Command 20 lb XL Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strips 16 Pairs (32 Command Strips), Damage Free Hanging Picture Hangers, Heavy Duty Wall Hanging Strips for Home Decor, White Adhesive Strips --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/445335256-led-digital-wall-clock-with-large-display-big-digits-auto](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/445335256-led-digital-wall-clock-with-large-display-big-digits-auto) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
