Will grow and multiply
Writing this review 2-3 years after planting.All of the bulbs sprouted and produced flowers in the first year. I did not get as many flowers this past November, but the growth was substantial. I wanted to divide my bulbs today for re-planting and was pleasantly surprised when I dug everything up. What initially started as 20 bulbs had multiplied around 4x and I ended up with at least 80. I’m looking forward to seeing how many flowers they’ll produce this year.

Saffron Crocus Bulbs
These crocus bulbs are magnificent. Vigorous and had flowers with saffron within 30 days of planting!! Wonderful!! Thank you Longwood Gardens!

Avoid
Purchased 11/24 planted 2/25 in Florida in 3 different locations and every bulb died.. 30 day replacement or returns is obviously beyond the window of return so I’m S.O.L.

Very nice bulbs
If you are like me, never cooked with saffron and don’t have a green thumb but thought this looked so neat to try (thanks tictok) then you have landed on the correct seller.After all, Why spend $25 for some saffron when you can spend $41 for bulbs, $18 for soil and $20 for a container to TRY to grow your own?These bulbs are very nice, more than 30 and well packaged. The instructions were also very helpful. I cannot wait to plant them. Thank you for helping making a city girl’s delusional dream come true!

Didn’t get what I ordered
I ordered 20 but only got 15 bulbs, they came loose in the shipping package so maybe some fell out along the way?
