A: It's to open the alarm case for battery change. You put it in between the front case and main unit to seperate.

A: I mounted mine on the handle bar riser using four cable zip ties (two around the riser and two around the handle bar).

**Q: Does the remote vibrate in your pocket if someone is trying to take your bike?**
A: No, it does not vibrate, but if you are in a store and it goes off, most likely you will hear it. It's loud.
