## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you have to make a hole in the bike?**
A: Your bike frame should have screw holes to allow for attachment of the rack (2 near the wheel and 2 near the seatpost).  If the frame doesn’t have screw holes, you can purchase rubber liner c-clamps from a hardware store to attach the rack to the frame.  You will need one c-clamp for every attachment point.

**Q: Does this come with the extenders needed to mount to the bike?**
A: Ours did. It has been a while since I bought this.

**Q: Does this fit the Trek 1500 which has very small eyelets on the stays?**
A: I have mine on a Trek bike, which also has the small eyelets and the supplied hardware worked   just fine. It also comes with material to retrofit if necessary.  Hope this helped.

**Q: Does this come with the hardware to attach it to my hybrid bike?**
A: It would come with the mounting hardware.

I chose this rack because I wanted one that did not add a ton of weight to my adventure/road bike. This one is a little lighter than most of the others while still retaining strength and durability. It is an attractive minimal design. I especially like the black matte finish. Installation was easy and a perfect fit. This rack fit on my disk brake bike even though it is not advertised as a disk brake rack, probably because Specialized smartly drill their insertion holes a little higher. The only reason I deducted a star is because I could not get my Planet Bike Blinky Light with the rack attachment to attach tightly to the little reflector clip on the back, but I did find another one that bolts on to the back bar.
