When I got home yesterday, though, I opened up the package containing CatStronauts: Mission Moon and showed it to my boy he was in awe. This is his first graphic novel, so I wasn't sure how things would go. He immediately abandoned the tablet and sat in the middle of the living room for an hour reading the entire book out loud. He's finishing kindergarten, so not all the words are familiar to him and he needed some help, but he understood most of the jokes. The author was able to effectively balance humor and tension in a potentially... cat-astrophic situation so well that my boy couldn't put it down. When it was bed time he asked me to finish the story really quickly so he wouldn't have to wonder how it ended. This is a true success for Mr Brockington, and I'm excited to read Race to Mars with my son tonight. This book was super funny with all sorts of hilarious hidden details and puns. In short Catsronauts, Mission Moon is a great book. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent for a science-focused 7-year-old *by K***P on September 16, 2021* A relative sent us two of the Catstronauts books and my son (age 7) loved them so much we immediately had to buy the rest of the series. He was able to read them to himself and thoroughly enjoyed the storylines.
