However, although I measured as indicated for the thigh circumference (which came to 19" -- high end of medium, low end of large according to their chart) and ordered a large, it is much too tight at the point above the thigh. It may be that these size recommendations are based on athletes or much younger, firmer people. I tried it on and it was okay lying in bed but when I got up it pinched my thighs and also was quite unsightly because of the flesh bulge at the top.
