They solder in place easily and work exactly as expected. The specs are just as described, and they are essentially an exact replacement for any other connectors of this type. These are a tiny little bit tricky to crimp, but at the same time, I feel very strongly that they were essential to helping me hone my skills with crimping the sorts of connectors in general. I found myself using a significant amount more of the two pin and four pin connectors, so I think going for what I would probably only replenish those sizes, but this is a great overall kit that works really nice and the pieces fit together very well. The male counterparts are also very easy to solder onto a board, just square some painters tape around them to hold them in place on the board while you do it and you're good to go!
