## Questions & Answers

**Q: Wont these melt if i have a high power video card?**
A: 6 pin to 2 x PCIe 8 (6+2) pin applicable power is within 100W

**Q: How long are the cables?**
A: They are 8" long.

**Q: I am getting a gtx 1050 ti gaming edition and i heard it needs to be hooked directly to the power supply, would this work?**
A: Exactly like JO said, check your powersupply for a 6 pin connector it should have one. 1050 TI’s model uses 1 6 pin connector I believe. This y adapter is for when your video card uses two 6 or 8 pin connectors and you only have one 6 pin on your power supply. I bought two y adapters because im using two video cards so four 6 pins were needed in my case and i only had two on my power supply

**Q: I have a pcie cable that has a 8 pin and 6+2 pin, could i use this splitter to power a riser off the same cable for a card with a tdp of 180?**
A: is not it problem when psu cable ends with 6+2 pin and you make extension only with 6?
