The model comes all grey and the final result really depends on your painting skills. It is super fun to do it, but requires many hours of work. In my case more it took more than a month working long hours during the weekends to put together.

**Q: What scale is the model?**
A: 47,9 cm and has 226 parts of that helps

**Q: Do you paint everything first and then assemble the parts?**
A: My husband is an experienced builder. I got it for him. The body is assembled then painted & any decals added. Each of the containers is individually painted & decals, added then placed on deck. Hope that helps.

**Q: Is this model ok for a beginner?**
A: No, I would say this model is intermediate to advanced skill level.

**Q: Please confirm if is made with carboard? or which is the material.**
A: It is made of plastic, with a high level of detail.  It will build into a very nice model of the main type of cargo ship used around the world.
