He came home from a run and saw it and automatically said that it would be great for trail work! We are runners and belong to a club and we clean up park trails as volunteer work among other things. Should have got two. I'm a bare foot runner so do most yard work bare foot. I WILL be wearing shoes using this one though and I don't think it will join all the other numerous hoes on the dead hoe pile soon. I was either repairing or throwing away hoes constantly working in my own gardens and a broken tool will set you back the rest of the day. I'm only 5'2" and weigh 115lbs. So this will be easier to use than my 8 lb. maul. Will make for great ab work as well as upper body while I clean my gardens of the wretched crab grass.
