My concern was the price and what I have learned in this life is you get what you pay for.Well I am happy to say this light is Awesome build quality seems good the brightness is literally 2x. Brighter then the $600 one I hadGrant it we're talking 10yr old technology so I was really happy for that.My pool is rectangle 16x32 20 thousand gallonI attached a video to show you how bright and colorful the light isThe Red is not real bright but that's a Spectrum issue not the lights problem .The video really doesn't show you the White really well but trust me it's whiteI can't give you a longevity report as of today because I just installed it but I usually leave the lights on through the night so hopefully you don't hear from me for a few years !People are complaining about the remotes distance I don't know if I just got lucky but I can change the colors and operate it just fine from at least 30 ft from the pool.So for the money along with a remote so far I'm giving this a 5 out of 5 stars !Check out the video hop you found this helpful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great, like the brightness level *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2019* I am very impressed with this light. I just replaced a Stabrite 120v 400w light bulb. Really didn't expect this to fit into my current housing when I opened the box and saw the size, but it fit perfectly and the glass cover went over it fine.It took a few minutes for the remote to work after I put the battery in (uses one of the smaller A23 batteriesso be prepared order on Amazon or make a run to Target or CVS to pick it up), odds are you don't have one.But remote works fine, I dip the antennae in the water and hold it about 3 feet away and it easily changes the light color, even turns it on and off. The strobe effect is kind of cool along with the rapid changing of colors that you can change the speed on with the remote. I can also change the colors by using the wall switch, wait a few secs in between on and off and it changes the colors fine.I really wasn't sure if the light would be a bright as the incandescent light but it looks fine and of course, does not put out any heat like the older bulb did. I really like the magenta (more like light blueish) color brightens up the whole pool without being overbearing. This light also negates the need for any color plastic light cover like I had previously.My only complaint is I wish they sold a smaller spa light since I intend to replace that as well.. But I am very impressed with this pool light. My incandescent bulb kept blowing out on me, when I just used it a few times and cost $60 each time to replace. Seemed to be picky about when you turned it on all of a sudden then boom, no more light. It made me worry something was wrong with the housing although appeared to be pretty dry inside. However I have the hit the light switch umpteenth times now with this new LED and doesn't appear to be impacted at all so a nice relief to know I don't have a housing or cord issue which would have cost a lot more to replace.I can see the day pools will never need incandescent bulbs. I was concerned how well (or if) they would work at the price, but they've been great! You can replace a lot of these for the $3 grand cost of a hard wired installed system from a major pool equipment manufacturer.Pull out the old bulb, install this bulb (with a new seal, please), reinstall and your done!Remote does need to be close---I actually stand over the bulb and dip the remote antenna into the water and that never fails.
