That is simply not true. I put this on my new company-issued Macbook Pro, installation was easy enough, it's wonderfully clear, but . . . it hardly affects viewing angles at all. The screen gets a *tiny* bit darker when viewing off-axis, but text is still perfectly readable except at the very edge (where reading would be difficult anyway). I've included a photo from about twice the advertised viewing offset to show what I mean. I might keep it on anyway for the blue-blocking anti-glare properties, but as a privacy filter it's a total failure. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like other reviewers *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2017* Like other reviewers, my adhesive doesn't stick. The screen protector is ok, but I think people on airplanes will still be able to see my screen. Not thrilled.Update: Received more adhesive. I put adhesive on every edge possible. Now the screen stays stuck to the computer through my travels. Turning down the brightness of the screen does reduce the viewing angle greatly. ### ⭐⭐⭐ This screen is NOT a privacy screen.
