I know its airtight because I have shaken it only holding the lid trying to prove my wife wrong. Conveniently has a spot to store the formula scoop, I believe it came with one but the formula we were purchase also does and it fit right in no problem. Super easy to take apart and clean also. The little inserts pop out of place easily, the rubber ring/gasket comes off no problem and just twist the top and bottom part of the lid 90° and it all comes apart for easy cleaning. So happy wife, happy life... but im also very happy with this product! 10/10 would recommend!!

**Q: Is this good to use for traveling?**
A: Yes, we use them to hold our cat and dog treats for a long trip.  I also place treats for the humans on the trip in a separate one.  I love these and use them for just about everything.

**Q: Can you wash in the dishwasher?**
A: We do not recommend washing the container in the dishwasher as it may cause scratches.

**Q: Can the middle plastic piece for lid come off? I unscrewed the middle part of lid but it won't come off.**
A: i think that would defeat the purpose of the comtainer.

**Q: Is the formula scoop size compareable to the formula scoop that formula comes with?**
A: Formula comes in varying serving sizes
