Review: Sparkly! - I've been evolving into borderline germaphobe over the years, with selective cleaning habits and quirks, but I dislike harsh chemicals more than germs for some reason lol. I also hate cleaning to some degree, partly due to laziness and partly due to how long it takes and often feeling like I'm not getting anywhere. I always feel like there's never a break from it in our household, given the environment (lots of dirty, bugs, etc.) and that I'm the only one who cleans...eep. I've never been impressed with microfiber cloths, so I wasn't getting my hopes up with these when I ordered them, but seeing them on YouTube convinced me to give them a try. It turns out these beauties are truly awesome and I can't stop talking about them. They really speed up the cleaning process in a number of ways, and the more I use them, the faster and easier it gets. Above all, they're effective! They clean just as well as any sponge or cleaning product, minus a few exceptions, and just using water. In some cases, they work better and faster than traditional tools/methods, working great on most grime and yet gentle enough to use on more delicate surfaces. Things turn out as squeaky-clean as the now-rare times I use my steam cleaner. Best of all, I can usually use the same cloth for multiple chores/tasks and get the job done in a matter of minutes, even while being able to detail areas other tools won't reach. Now, jobs that I hate doing (bathroom/bedroom) or larger areas take under ten minutes, to the point where I'm now doing it several times a week rather than blowing it off as for as long possible--sometimes every few months or a few times a year. Areas are positively gleaming and I now find "cleaning" a bit addictive. Whodda thunk? Even the dirt-oblivious man unit is taking notice. Eureka! I really notice a difference when it comes to cleaning counters in one fell swoop, thanks to the way the cloth picks up debris and actually holds onto it, and the way it cuts through sticky mayhem in no time at all. Glass and mirrors shine like no one's business and improve the more I do it (less residue). The microwave is now quick and easy, especially if I nuke a damp cloth desanitize it for a minute. Fiat seems to to stay away, especially when I do damp dusting (the dry dusting cloth is very effective, but I tend to use it on glass). I really like the stainless steel cloth for its job as well as others. They do not handle every imaginable task, though they will handle most. For instance, we have insanely hard well water--the cloths won't remove stains without a little help, but they do seem to prevent hard water stains from occuring even though I use tap water. They won't get thick, old, super-baked on grease off without a good amount of scrubbing, and it can sometimes (not always) stain the cloth. For really old grease that I've not been able to get at or off for ages, I prefer using a sponge and then the cloths once most of its off, mainly due to staining (stain pre-treatment would likely help, but haven't tried yet). I tend to use the stove and stainless steel cloths for heavy duty or super greasy work that might stain; otherwise, they're great for maintenance. Crazy-hard mineral stains will need other tools. The only thing I don't like are the tags, which I eventually cut off. I definitely plan to stock up and buy more to rotate, and I also purchased more polishing cloths and the 5-pack Starter Kit with all-purpose cloths and polishing cloth. Love them. Highly recommend.
Review: I've become a believer in the cleaning ability of microfiber - I was recently invited to an online Norwex party. I usually am not enthusiastic of direct sales parties, but paid attention to the daily product pitches that were posted to see if I would be interested in buying anything, as the hostess is a fairly good friend of mine. I was most intrigued by the idea of cleaning with microfiber cloths with just water, as I am really bad at cleaning regularly, and making the process easier may inspire me to make more of an effort to keep my house clean. Being somewhat of a skeptic of direct sales products, and an avid researcher of consumer products, I took my investigation of Norwex online and found near unanimous acclaim for their products. However, a few blog posts mentioned a company called e-cloth that sold comparable microfiber cleaning rags for a fraction of the price, without requiring support of a MLM sales company. Most who had tried both brands seemed to say e-cloth performed just as, or almost as well as Norwex, making it the better valued product worthwhile of purchase. My analysis of the numerous sources I read from users of the microfiber cleaning products left me somewhat skeptical that the silver fibers in the Norwex actually kill bacteria as well as claimed, but convinced that both products clean surfaces very well with just water, as advertised. So I opted to start by trying e-cloth. I opted to start by trying the 8 piece home set, as I liked the idea of having a set of labeled cloths for separate purposes. So far, I have tried all but the finishing cloths and the dusting rag. Here are my thoughts. The kitchen rag was the first one I tried, and has gotten the most use so far. This cloth has a scrubber in the corner for stuck on messes, and has a thinner but dense weave. Before getting microfiber, I would use a kitchen sponge or washcloth with dish soap to wipe off the counters after cooking and the table after eating, which always felt like it was just pushing the particles on the counter around. The damp microfiber cloth really does feel like it is picking up particles - at least those small enough to reasonably fit in the microfiber - as I wipe and scrub a surface. I have been very pleased with the results. It fairly easily cleaned up caked on coffee stains underneath my espresso maker that I would struggle to remove with a wet washcloth and dish detergent. The stove and range cloth is similar to the kitchen rag, though maybe a little thinner and has alternating coarse stripes for scrubbing a stove top. My glass stove top sadly has a lot of baked on buildup after years of neglect and not cleaning it as well as I should, and I did not expect the cloth to work miracles on that (which was true). But I have tried to be diligent about cleaning my range after cooking since receiving my e-rags, and it does do a better job cleaning it than the previous sponge/dish detergent method I previously used. No residue, and the bulk of the stovetop shines just as it does after using pasty glass stovetop cleaner - after being cleaned with just a microfiber cloth and water. The window cloth works well, too. It has a fine, tight and smooth waffle weave. I used it to clean my sliding glass door, bathroom mirrors, and a couple of windows that have not been cleaned in a very long time. It cleans just as well as a rag and Windex. Actually, probably better, since Windex can leave streaks. It has the same "pick up the mess" feel in regards to smudges and residue on windows and mirrors as the other rags did when cleaning kitchen surfaces. I don't have any stainless steel appliances other than an espresso maker, but I tried the stainless steel rag on it, which seems similar to me as the range and stovetop rag. I can't say the appliance was all that dirty, but wiping it with the smooth side of the rag did seem to make it "shine" a bit more. The bathroom rag is the thickest, and has a washcloth like texture with the outside having more of a standard terry cloth weave. The rag doesn't pick up hair or other larger particles, but did a decent job removing scum dropets from the sink, counter, and faucet. The cloth won't remove mineral scale buildup, so cleaning products and scrubbing tools are still needed for that purpose. I haven't tried the finishing cloths, as I feel I don't feel like I really need to shine them up anymore than what the cleaning e-rags have done so far. I haven't yet tried the dusting cloth, as it doesn't appear to be made of anything "special" like the microfiber cleaning cloths. A good rinse with hot water, and even hand washing with a small bit of detergent, doesn't get visible dirt out of the rag after I clean something really dirty. A machine wash seems to do a much better job visibly cleaning the rags. I will probably machine wash them more regularly than instructions say to feel confident they are adequately cleaned. Overall, I am very happy with the e-cloths. I think they will inspire me to do a better job keeping surfaces clean, since they are so easy to use and seem to do a good job at picking up particles while wiping surfaces. I may end up picking up a few more general purpose cloths to accompany the kitchen cloth, so I don't have to launder it daily.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ love, love, LOVE
*by E***N on May 19, 2015*

I love these cloths! I received the shower cloth (I don't see it available on amazon) as a gift and was amazed at how well it worked so I had to see if the other cloths were anywhere near as good. I never thought I'd be able to give up paper towels, but these cloths make it real easy! It's so much faster, easier, and cheaper to clean now and the results are even better. I have a 7 month-old so I also appreciate that I can do away with a lot of the chemicals/cleaners I was previously using and know that surfaces are still clean. Cleaning the shower and cleaning the microwave have long been my two most dreaded cleaning tasks, but I honestly don't mind either one now. I just wipe the shower down a few times a week (the shower cloth has a suction cup so it can hang in the shower, and I just wipe the tub and wall while I'm showering) and that's all it takes to keep it looking clean. Our microwave is relatively clean but when spaghetti sauce, etc. inevitably splatters it's usually a huge pain to get it clean again. Even after one of these splatter messes, the kitchen cloth gets it looking spotless with relatively no effort. I still can't believe it. I have been using these cloths for several months now and am still in love with them. I honestly wish I could sell them because I believe in them so strongly. (But I guess that's partly why they're cheaper than Norwex, because there's no consultant to go through.) I haven't tried Norwex so I don't know how these compare, but they work well enough that I don't feel like I'm missing anything. Also, being very attentive to detail, I appreciate that all of these cloths (except the finishing cloths) are labeled with a sturdy tag so that they're easy to hang and you can easily find which one you need without having to learn off that bat what each one looks like.
