**Q: Does the transponder still work properly as normal since its now hidden in a case rather than being open as usual.**
A: Yes, the transponder will work as normal: the materials we use (plastic and silicone) do not block the radio frequencies used for toll collection.

A: I’m not sure if it’s like the one from NYS it’ll work

**Q: I just ordered the ezpass for nj…. does it fit that one?**
A: Hello. It depends on which model they send you. This cover is designed for EZ Pass Mini, which is the most common transponder. However we got word that NJ is starting to adopt the new rectangular shape recently introduced in PA. Please look at the last product photo, which allows a visual compatibility check. I picked up this IoT Slash EZ Pass cover and holder to clean up the look of my windshield and make it easier to mount my transponder. Right away, I liked the all-black design, which blends in much better than the standard exposed EZ Pass.Installation was quick the holder uses strong suction cups, so you can mount it to the windshield without dealing with adhesive strips. It stays in place well and doesn’t fall off, even with regular driving.The silicone cover is a nice touch because it protects the transponder and gives it a more finished look. It also makes it easy to move between vehicles if needed, without leaving residue behind like Velcro mounts.Overall, it’s a simple but useful upgrade if you want a cleaner setup and a more secure way to mount your EZ Pass.
