The front cover feels sturdy and doesn’t flex like some I’ve experienced, and the back shell has a good thickness and snugly holds the iPad in place. I also like the unique wood grain-type pattern of the case which gives it just enough grip. The only negatives in my opinion are that that the front cover feels very thin (compared to the Devicewear Ridge I use on my iPad Mini) and the smooth shell tends to slide on the non-textured inside cover when using the iPad in viewing mode. That said, I selected this case specifically because it had a front “hinge” allowing it to fold into the back, creating a nice triangle for typing or viewing, so the slipping isn’t a deal breaker.Overall, I think this is an excellent case for the money, but if one is looking for something slightly more substantial the Devicewear Ridge may be a better choice. It has a thicker, more premium feel and offers slots for viewing angles. However it is also twice the price of the Ztotop. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good protective cover *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 2, 2019* Good protective cover but very lousy stand as far as landscape mode goes. Just have to prop it up if I wanted a 75° from horizontal surface. I don't want 15° which is all it can do without props. ### ⭐ Poor quality and not durable. *by M***H on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 6, 2018* This case fits the iPad 5 gen beautifully - like a glove - but it is not durable and the quality is poor. On one of two cases purchased, all four corners began cracking after one month of regular use (see images); on the other case, all four after two months of light use. Initially, it seemed like one case was just defective, but since the second case exhibits the same defects, I believe it may be an issue with the materials and manufacture. The back is made of extremely thin and rigid plastic, and the finish is smooth, which makes it somewhat slippery. If you dropped your iPad onto any hard surface, this case absolutely would not protect it from damage. I'm now looking for replacement cases just a few weeks after buying these - quite a disappointing purchase.Edit 2018.03.15: Though the cases I purchased were defective, the seller (Benazcap) provided prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service to immediately resolve the problem by offering a full refund or replacement.
