With this item, you will be able to use the newest HDMI v2.0 (HDCP 2.2) sources. This is a pure HDCP downconverter to convert HDCP v2.2 HDMI signal to HDCP v1.4 HDMI signal, no change to the input video and audio format. There are early generations of HDMI 4K@60Hz displays only support HDCP v1.4, but newer HDMI v2.0 sources come with HDCP v2.2, which is not supported by those 4K displays with HDCP v1.4. This converter is the solution. This converter is backward compatible to all generations of HDMI v1.4 products. This item has one-year manufacturer warranty. ## Features - HDCP 2.2 to 1.4: Play today's content on your legacy 4K display; compliant with HDMI 1.4b - Support 4K@60Hz YUV420 HDR video - Support Dolby TureHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, LPCM; Support 3D - Full metal jacket construction; One year warranty - If you are looking at this item, we would recommend to check out the other new model: UHD1X4SA, which is a multi-functional unit: a HDMI 1x4 splitter + HDMI audio extractor + HDCP 2.2 to HDCP 1.4 converter, all in one. ## Images ![ViewHD HDCP v2.2 to v1.4 Converter Support HDMI 4K@60Hz, 3D, CEC, Dolby DTS, LPCM | Model: VHD-TTOF - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/W/MEDIAX_792452-T2/images/I/71f3w-WA-1L.jpg) ![ViewHD HDCP v2.2 to v1.4 Converter Support HDMI 4K@60Hz, 3D, CEC, Dolby DTS, LPCM | Model: VHD-TTOF - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/W/MEDIAX_792452-T2/images/I/71geb0bKSpL.jpg) ![ViewHD HDCP v2.2 to v1.4 Converter Support HDMI 4K@60Hz, 3D, CEC, Dolby DTS, LPCM | Model: VHD-TTOF - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/W/MEDIAX_792452-T2/images/I/71CJ+VIXI8L.jpg) ![ViewHD HDCP v2.2 to v1.4 Converter Support HDMI 4K@60Hz, 3D, CEC, Dolby DTS, LPCM | Model: VHD-TTOF - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/W/MEDIAX_792452-T2/images/I/717XwepeMoL.jpg) ![ViewHD HDCP v2.2 to v1.4 Converter Support HDMI 4K@60Hz, 3D, CEC, Dolby DTS, LPCM | Model: VHD-TTOF - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/W/MEDIAX_792452-T2/images/I/715ZBVFTGEL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Son of a Gun it worked!!!! *by C***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2019* I have gone through 4 different UHD 2.2 to 1.4 protocol converters. All did not work... screen would freeze the screen. I have an old Seiki 55 UHD flatscreen ( about 8 years old). This first time I.could watch the way I bought this TV. Recommend that you try this unit if you have same issues. Good luck!!! Plus mine came with US type plug. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Comes with Euro power adapter, not US as shown in pictures. *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2019* Why not put in description power adapter is Euro as opposed to US adapter in pictures. Electronically works fine, but had to buy adapter and new power strip to accommodate size of adapter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works for my Vizio smart tv because my tv outputs hdcp 1 *by F***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2018* Works for my Vizio smart tv because my tv outputs hdcp 1.4 but I didn't want to buy a new tv so I bought this just to try it and as long as your tv supports 4k and 30-60 hertz FPS then your good to go. But it also supports HDR too --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/45555071-viewhd-hdcp-v2-2-to-v1-4-converter-support-hdmi](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/45555071-viewhd-hdcp-v2-2-to-v1-4-converter-support-hdmi) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
