The author covers just about everything a user could ever want to know in a short and very understandable manner. The author carefully included enough information to explain the Kindle Fire and what it can do, but not too much information that would put the reader/user into overload. In addition, there are numerous screen shots of the Kindle Fire HDX, so the reader/user can see what exactly the author is talking about. I have had my Kindle Fire about six months and wish this had been available during the first weeks I stumbled around and called Amazon using Mayday many times, trying to figure out my Kindle Fire. I thought I really understood and could use my Kindle Fire, but, after reading the book, I still found many new, useful items that will make using my Kindle Fire all the better for me. I really liked the way the author covered the information he provided, not too much, not too little and with well written, understandable explanations/discussions. After reading this book, I now feel far more confident using my Kindle Fire, and will definitely find it even far more useful in my everyday life. I'm in my seventies, so occasionally have to ask a grandchild for help, but it's so easy to use, that doesn't happen often. I've had my Kindle keyboard for several years, and don't think I've read anything since then that i haven't read on my kindle--l have a waterporrf pouch for it, and love to sit in my floatie in the pool and reading.
