Lots of splinters, lots of work to remove
If you are looking for a nice quality cutting board set that does NOT require a lot of "cleaning" to get rid of splinters, SKIP this product. After probably over a dozen handwashes (+ towel dry) and 2 oilings, it still has tiny splinters in various places. I was very disappointed in the amount of work required to get this cutting board set into an even partially usable state. I think the set might be usable now, but if I had known how much work/time/risk? would be required, I would not have purchased it.

So far so good
I've only had these for a few days so some of the aspects will yet to be discovered (e.g. sturdiness or durability). I've had previous bamboo boards that started to fall apart only after a few months of use, so I'm curious to see how long these will last. What I can tell so far, is that they seem sturdier than other cutting boards. I like that they have the little ridge at the edge for any liquid to remain on the board and not spill over. I only hand wash them and place them where they can dry completely as moisture can always damage natural products.Well aware that bamboo boards will never as "durable" as plastic, I prefer to buy these because they are 100% natural, eco-friendly, and biodegradable. I don't have to worry about micro plastic going into food or anywhere in fact. I think it's very much worth the price for the environment.

Not Durable
I purchased this cutting board set for my Mother back in August 2019 because I saw it had good reviews. However, I went over today to clean for my Mom and saw the big cutting board was broken down the middle(horizontally). The medium cutting board has some cracks in it and it will soon too crack and split. I do not recommend buying this cutting board set.

Broken Promise and never used!!!
I was so excited to get these bamboo cutting boards. I had done some research and thought this was a great product at a great price. I used the larger two the day I got them from Amazon. After cleaning them I realized I needed to season them before I used them again, so since I had not used the smallest one I was just going to season it before I used it. I laid it on the counter to hand wash and when I went to pick it up it was broken in two. I can't understand how or why this happened since I had never used it. There was a sheet pan on top of it because I was going to hand wash that too. But there is no way an empty sheet pan should be able to break this cutting board. I may try to glue it or just use it like this...not sure. But the larger two are still good.

Not great
I was wondering to myself "why are cutting boards so expensive?" You can find hardwood cutting boards for $50, $80...even $100 or more. Now I know why. These bamboo cutting boards are very lightweight, have a rough, porous finish, and just are not built for the long haul like the more expensive hardwood ones are. I would not call them disposable...maybe "semi-disposable." These will not be family heirlooms that are passed down through the generations. Still, they are serviceable enough, just know what you are getting.

Good value, but unfinished
Good value, but unfinished. The routered grooves are still rough, which I would think means unsanitary. Easy to fix with some fine sandpaper or steel wool. But then you need to treat it with mineral oil, so I would rather this had been done by the manufacturer.

I also didn't like that some of the edges of the boards were ...
I was not as impressed with the cutting boards as I thought I would be. When they arrived, they definitely had a strong bamboo scent on them, leaving me worried the smell would actually penetrate the foods that I cut on them. I washed them all really well before using and so far they haven't. I also didn't like that some of the edges of the boards were not as smooth as they look in the pictures - I could have easily gotten a splinter. In addition, I now have a stain on one of the boards from slicing a few strawberries. I'm surprised since I thought bamboo was a hard wood and resistant to stains. This leaves me to wonder about the anti-microbial factor...

Wedding Shower
I bought the cutting boards to be used and a wedding shower for cheese, grapes, etc. The wood was great quality. I loved the different sizes. When the shower was over, we gave the Bride the cutting boards and told her every time she used them she could think of her first wedding shower. The boards are absolutely beautiful. I am going to order some for me and my daughter.
