So I finally got these DC Judges and it felt like my foot sank into a custom bed of heaven. I think even said, "Wow" to myself when I first put them on. The arch support was perfect, ankle stability was great, heel lift was minimized, wow! The only downside was that I had ordered an 11 (about a half size up from my actual shoe size) and my toes were still touching the end of the boot. So I returned them for 11.5's (a full size larger) and they were perfect. Hitting the mountain, it was nice to be able to dial in the ideal tightness in the upper and lower zones using the BOA coilers, and not having to mess with laces. I will say that the coilers work well most of the time, but occasionally they do pop and cinch loose and need tightening again. The other minor downside is that the inner lining lace clamp is hard to deal with, really stiff, and doesn't secure the laces all that well. But with the upper ankle velcro powerstrap and the coilers, it didn't really matter that much. Otherwise, the Blue Magic soles, and the greatfeel of the inner liner and the overall construction makes for an excellent boot that I am really happy I found after all that hunting. Small note- I have Burton Mission EST bindings and these boots are wider than the typical Burton boot, so these DC's rub up against the back heel sides of the binding and I have to step down a bit to get them in, but once they're in, they're snug. Not sure if that will wear away at the heels of the boots over time, but it still won't affect the performance... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Dual Boa Goodness. *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2016* I've had these boots for one year now, and I've gotten a taste of the broken in goodness. I've tried tinkered with boots of different brands (broken in and new), and for the $210 I paid I'm very glad I bought these. I ride all mountain and do jumps.Pros: - Dual boas gets your boot cinched down nicely - Accommodating to wide feet - Insulates 'just right' for me (I don't get cold just sitting on the lifts, and I don't get extremely sweaty) - Traction works, within reason. - Matches my DC skate shoe sizeCons: - Unmercifully tight out of the box. Getting in and out into the boots was extremely difficult, requiring lots of stomping/hopping or pushing. This also makes it extremely uncomfortable at first. After a year of riding, I can get in and out with some resistance. - Still get heel lift every now and then. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2014* Extremely disappointed in the performance of the boots. They are very hard to slip on and difficult to remove. My foot and ankle slip within the boot. I have a 5 yr old pair of this boot in the same size that fits and performs much better.
