I moved into a new apartment with carpeting in my bedroom, which is never good for someone with indoor allergies. I couldn't get rid of the carpet, so I use every method to keep my bedroom clean and free of allergens. This product goes a long way in helping me breathe and sleep better at night. Before I bought this product, I woke up at least night in an asthmatic coughing fit (brought on by allergies). Since I've been using this at night, I have the most wonderful 8 hours of consistent sleep every night. ### ⭐ Caveat Emptor *by G***R on June 9, 2018* Some weeks ago I needed an air purifier for a small bedroom. I did not have time to shop local stores, and so, after looking at various internet items, I purchased LeadYoung Gesture Control HEPA Air Purifier. I wish I had read the description of the item more closely before I made the purchase.In a nutshell, the LeadYoung is small. Very small. Very, very small. It is a cylinder, seven inches tall, with a diameter of three inches. The product description declares it is most useful in a space of 100 square feet or less. In my personal opinion, however, you could set it inside a small closet and run it for a week or two without obtaining noticeable satisfaction.The machine has two airflow speeds, high and low. It is turned on, and the speeds are adjusted, by waving your hand over the top of the cylinder. This has a certain geek appeal, but I personally found it awkward. Wave your hand to turn the machine on high, yes, but when you drop your hand to your side—surprise! You’ve waved your hand once more, and the machine goes back to low. It’s annoying.A week or two later, when I had time to shop, I went to a home improvement chain store, where I bought a much more useful device for only a little money more. I suppose this item has its uses--some reviews indicate that it works well in a car--but I was very displeased with the product and its performance.
