Review: Great Product Overall for an RV Slideout, but Pretty Much Impossible to Get Perfectly Straight - It took a little bit of figuring, and the instructions should have been more descriptive and specific. The rail itself is really good, though. It's really hard to cut, even with tin shears (at least ours). You're pretty much not going to get it perfectly straight, either. You can get close, but there's going to be a little bit of wave to it since it's metal on the inside and comes rolled. Straightening it out isn't too difficult, just trying to get a perfectly straight line is not going to happen. Make sure to physically hold it up to where you want to install it before installing. We installed it in the ceiling of an RV slideout. I was a little nervous about installing it in what's essentially a plastic ceiling since the instructions were for drywall or other substances. It worked fine, though, using the screws that came with the package. I think the screws were probably an inch and a half long. The instructions didn't tell us specifically enough how to install it, so we looked up an installation tutorial for a different brand, which helped. One thing we had to figure out was how far away to install the ceiling mounts that the rail snaps into. We ended up installing them about every 14 inches or so with an extra mount in a curve we had. We used almost the whole length, just a few inches shy. The clamps have really good hold of 4 curtain panels we used on them. The grip is impressive for such small clamps. They roll really easily but also stay in place after being let go fairly well. Very happy with the result overall. Edit 1 Year Later: This track is still holding up great. It still slides easily and hasn't caused any problems with the RV slide ceiling that it's installed into. Every once in a while we'll get a little too rough sliding it and one of the hooks at the other end of the clamps will come undone, but it's pretty easy to stick them back into their little loops. The clamps have a super aggressive hold on the curtains. I think they'd tear the curtain and pull down the track before they let go of the curtain. Because the clamps are so sharp and grippy, it is pretty damaging to the fabric, but since we don't really intend to use those curtains for anything else, it's fine. Still super happy with this purchase. It turned an RV couch into an RV bedroom for us!
Review: Good for an RV. - This curtain track did what I needed it to do. It was wrapped pretty tightly when I got it so it was hard getting the twists out of it, but in the end, it does the trick and I’m happy. It fit well with some to spare and the appearance is good.

**Q: How do I combine 2 sets in order to provide smooth transitions over a long distance?**
A: Unroll curtain rail track and flatten them out first. Then just put 2 sets curtain tracks included ceiling or wall brackets next to each other and snapped the track into them so they are touching. Please attention that the two sets of rail tracks should be connected with seamless so that curtain gliders can slide through without obstruction.

**Q: How far down do the hooks hang?**
A: Curtain track clips size is 1.3in (about 33mm) ; the distance between the bottom of hooks hang down to rail track is 2.16inch(about 55mm).
Curtain track clips are made of stainless steel, strong enough to hang heavy curtains. Compared with u-shaped curtain track hooks, track clips with sawtooth can catch curtains tighter and stronger loading capacity, don't worry curtains will fall off.

**Q: What type of blinds (vertical), curtains can be used with this product?**
A: Any type can, it may take some creativity on glue you clip them to the drapes. I had one set that had the big holes wirh hardware I folded it down and clipped at fold looks much better. In my dining room I have 13 feet ceilings, I was able to buy drapes at Home goods long enough and did a faux tailored look using the clasps they are really strong.

**Q: It is too long. Can I cut the track into 2 parts?**
A: Yes. Ceiling curtain track is embedded with steel plate inside, which make curtain rail track more flexible, bendable and cuttable without crack. Bendable ceiling curtain track is 9.81ft (3 meters), you can cut any length you want by tooth hacksaw.

It took a little bit of figuring, and the instructions should have been more descriptive and specific. The rail itself is really good, though. It's really hard to cut, even with tin shears (at least ours). You're pretty much not going to get it perfectly straight, either. This curtain track was really good to me. I used it as a room divider. It was also really strong, so good for heavier curtains. It took about 10-15 minutes to put up. I liked that I was able to change and adjust how many hooks I could use to actually have the curtains hanging from for more or less support. It’s like a plastic material which makes it super easy to curve around tricky corners. This is definitely my Go to for curtains now
