It goes into depth on the impossible camera which has been replaced by newer models so if you’re picking this up because you’ve got a now or now+, you won’t get info on those cameras here.Furthermore, a lot of the techniques refer to impossible film, which isn’t made anymore, it’s now under the Polaroid originals name which could be confusing. They do work with the new Polaroid originals film, but the notes mention that only impossible film works, not Polaroid, but it’s referring to the old Polaroid film, not the currently available Polaroid originals, which is impossible film as far as this book is considered. Confusing! So if you’re wondering, things like emulsion lifts etc that say they work with impossible film seem to work with the new stuff. While it’s a great book full of great info, I was really hoping the new edition would have some new stuff, all I could find was a small publishers note at the beginning. Otherwise it’s more or less a softcover reprint. If you have the first version, I’d skip this. If you want a good book about Polaroid, Polaroid history and some projects (some use packfilm, be aware) it’s a good book and there is nothing like it on the market. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/458644605-polaroid-the-complete-guide-to-experimental-instant-photography](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/458644605-polaroid-the-complete-guide-to-experimental-instant-photography) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
